Summer Piano Intensive Series

he Summer Piano Intensive Series is tailored to fit the skill level and interests of the student while developing proficiency in the following areas:

• How to Practice
• Basics of Improvisation: Chords and Scales
• Rhythm and Meter
• Accompanying Singers
• Playing in Different Styles

The Summer Piano Intensive Series is best suited for a pianist with a background in classical piano who has an interest in honing improvisation as a means to:

• Develop expressively and spontaneity
• Explore compositional imaginations
• Enjoy other styles such as jazz, new age, Broadway, and rock

*A minimum technical requirement of moderate proficiency in major and minor scales and chords is a prerequisite to the intensive.*

Summer Intro to Piano Series

This series is for students interested in learning the piano who have never had music lessons.  The Intro to Piano Series teaches the fundamentals of music, music theory, and how to play simple songs.  Mr. Lindberg uses a unique approach that combines classical with more popular music to teach piano.

*A minimum age of 10 is a prerequisite to this Intro to Piano Series.*
